ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in Crime No.19 of 2025, on the file of the first respondent police seeking to quash the FIR, wherein, the petitioner is alleged to have committed offence under Sections 7 and 8 of POCSO Act, 2012.
2. A perusal of the FIR reveals that the petitioner is said to have misbehaved with a girl student, for whom, he was taking tution.
3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, since the teacher has warned the student and advised her, she had lodged a false complaint.
4. A perusal of the FIR reveals that there is a prima facie case as against the petitioner and no legal grounds have been made out for quashing the FIR. The contentions raised by the petitioner are the subject matter of trial and therefore, this Court cannot at this stage interfere with the investigation process.
5. There are no merits in this petition. .Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
