PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2025 and consequently direct them to take necessary action against the respondent no.4 to 7 in accordance

with law.

ORDER

Seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's

representation dated 18.05.2025 and to take necessary action against the

respondent no.4 to 7, this writ petition is filed.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the

private respondents is dispensed with.

3. It is needless to point out that whenever a representation of this nature

is made to a Statutory Authority, there is a duty cast upon the respondent to consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in one way or other instead of keeping the same pending indefinitely. As such, non-

consideration of the representation made by the Statutory Authority would amount to dereliction of duty and hence, this Court will be justified in invoking

the extraordinary powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

4. In this regard, the 3rd respondent is directed to put the petitioner as well

as the private respondents on summons under Section 64 BNSS and conclude the enquiry within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and to report the progress of the enquiry to the 2nd respondent every Friday. The 2nd respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by

the 3rd respondent.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
