ORDER

Seeking to direct the 1^st and 2^nd respondents to take appropriate steps on

the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 16.05.2025 as against the private respondents for the offence committed by them by considering the report of the Tahsildar, Thiruvaadanai, dated 04.10.2024 and the petitioner's representation

dated 12.03.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the

private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the matter

involves a money fraud and creation of false documents. In this regard, since the money involved is around Rs.33 Lakhs, the investigation has already been transferred from the file of the 2^nd respondent police to the District Crime

Branch, Ramnad on 19.03.2026.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the

materials available on record.

5. Since the complaint has already been transferred to the file of the

District Crime Branch, Ramnad, The Inspector of police, District Crime Branch, Ramnad, Ramanathapuram District is suo motu impleaded as 5^th respondent. The 5^th respondent is directed to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and to apprise the progress of the enquiry to the Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Ramanathapuram District. The Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Ramanathapuram

District is directed to monitor the enquiry conducted by the 5^th respondent.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
