ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.)

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the

respondents herein to admit the petitioner in the State roll of enrolment register under Sections 24 and 25 of the Advocates Act 1961 by considering the representations dated 03.10.2025 and 13.01.2026 of the

petitioner and pass orders, within a time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent

submitted that a report has already been sought from the concerned University for verification of the educational certificates produced by the writ petitioner and that a communication in this regard was also sent to the University on 05.03.2026. Further, he submitted that upon receipt of the verification report from the University, the petitioner’s enrolment will be considered in accordance with law. The petitioner is also required to cooperate with the process of verification and forwarding of the report from the University. Upon receipt of the report relating to the petitioner’s educational qualifications, the respondent shall take appropriate steps for

enrolment in accordance with law.

3.Such view of the matter, the second respondent shall verify

the report received from the University and thereafter, enrol the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the said report. Accordingly, this writ petition is

disposed of. No costs.
