Heard Mr. Chamundi Bose, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr. C. Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
2.The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to de-freeze the petitioner’s Savings Bank (Pension) Account bearing No.502770297 maintained with the respondent Bank, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated
06.04.2026.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he had availed a personal loan and a short-term loan from the respondent Bank. Owing to default in repayment of the monthly instalments, the respondent Bank had frozen the petitioner’s savings account.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is prepared to clear the outstanding dues payable to the respondent Bank and has already submitted a representation seeking de-
freezing of the account.
