A Writ of Mandamus will be dismissed as infructuous when the subject matter of the grievance has been addressed by the concerned authority through a subsequent order.

Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the enquiry pending before him with regard to the complaint dated 25.06.2025 made by the petitioner for taking departmental action against the 5th respondent and others within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the enquiry pending before him with regard to the complaint dated 25.06.2025 made by the petitioner for taking departmental action against the 5th respondent and others within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the Tahsildar, Vandhavasi, has passed an order dated 05.06.2026 in Na.Ka.No.A4/1901/2026, based on the petitioner’s complaint dated 25.06.2025.

3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order passed by the Tahsildar, Vandavasi, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
