ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent/contemnor for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 31.07.2025 passed in Crl.O.P.No. 18741 of 2025.

2. The learned Counsel for the Government (Crl. Side) appearing for the contemnor has filed a report dated 29.01.2026 stating that all the defamatory posts against the petitioner were removed from the social media and the same was also accepted by the petitioner, confirming that as on date, no defamatory posts against him are available on social media.

3. As far as the non-registration of an FIR is concerned, the contemnor has given an explanation in the said report, and there is no wilful disobedience.

4. Therefore, this Contempt Petition is closed.

5. The petitioner shall work out his remedy in the manner known to law insofar as the registration of FIR is concerned.
