PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondents herein to take appropriate action against the 4th and 5th respondents, in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2026, connecting with the C.S.R.No. 0241/2026, in accordance with law as per the direction laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh, within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.
ORDER
Seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 and 5 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 20.02.2026, in which C.S.R.No.241/2026 has already been issued, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given a representation seeking action against the respondents 4 and 5 by complaint dated 20.02.2026. The same is not duly dealt with by the 3rd respondent. Hence, this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) submitted that with regard to the complaint received from the petitioner, enquiry is pending.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, the 3rd respondent police is directed to put the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 and 5 on notice under Section 64 BNSS and after giving an opportunity of hearing, conclude the enquiry within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
