PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles, movement of materials and people from in and out of the petitioner company premises and further vacate the trespassing workmen by ensuring that no striking workers assemble illegally in any form within the radius of 200 meters from the petitioners company premises, viz., A-A1A, MMDA Industrial Complex, Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpattu District-603 209 based on petitioner representation dated 01.04.2025 given to the 1st respondent police.

ORDER
1. This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection for ingress and egress of vehicles, movement of materials and people from in and out of the petitioner company premises and further vacate the trespassing workmen by ensuring that no striking workers assemble illegally in any form within the radius of 200 meters from the petitioners company premises, viz., A-A1A, MMDA Industrial Complex, Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpattu District-603 209 based on petitioner representation dated 01.04.2025 given to the 1st respondent police.
2. When the matter is taken up of for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer become infructuous.
3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint. No costs.
