The application has been instituted by the AG & OT of Madras.
2. Deputy AG & OT would submit that AG & OT is administering more than 160 trust properties. The rental income derived from the Choultry property of Rao Bahadur V.Thiruvengadathan Chetty located at No.200, East Uthra Street, Srirangam, Trichy are kept in Fixed Deposit. The interest derived are used for charitable purpose as directed by the testator. In order to preserve the properties, employees were engaged. Further, it is contended that there was no wage revision done for more than 10 years.
3. Thus, AG & OT filed the present application seeking permission to enhance the salary to the employees with details of the employees as well as the proposed enhancement salary as stated in below:

4. In view of the fact that salary has not been enhanced for more than 10 years and the reason stated in the present application is acceptable, the AG & OT is permitted to pay the enhanced salary to the employees with effect from 01.10.2026 onwards.
5. Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. No costs.
