O R D E R

Learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 to R3 would submit that this Court, by an order dated 06.06.2023 in W.P.Nos.28652 and 28653 of 2015, directed Sub-Registrar, Thiruporur to cancel the Deed dated 25.06.2008 registered as Doc.Nos.4672 and 4673 of 2008. He would further submit that suitable direction may be issued for cancellation of the Deed, so that Sub-Registrar will take all necessary steps to comply with the order in a time bound manner.

2. In view of the above submission and upon perusal of the order dated 06.06.2023, it is seen that such a direction for cancellation of Deed had already been issued in the order under contempt, whereby the impugned unilateral cancellation deed dated 25.06.2008 registered as Doc.Nos.4672 and 4673 of 2008 was cancelled. The Sub-Registrar is directed to endorse in the encumbrance Register regarding cancellation of the deed within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to petitioner, with a copy of endorsement made thereunder.

3. With the above direction, the present Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
