This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by Respondents 5 to 7 on the 30 feet public road in the approved layout ldeal Home Colony approved vide DTCP 1190 of 1994 situated in Survey Nos.256 259 266 267 268 269 270 and 340 of Gudapakkam Village Gudapakkam Village Poonamallee Taluk Tiruvallur District and restore the said road to its original width and condition as per the approved layout plan.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 and R2, based on the status report filed by Tahsildar, Poonamallee Taluk would submit that encroachments are identified in respect of Government Poromboke land. Tahsildar further states that further action will be initiated for removal of encroachments.

3. In view of the status report filed by Tahsildar, Poonamallee, Respondents 1 to 3 are directed to remove all encroachments identified by following procedures as contemplated under relevant Statutes and Rules in force. The entire exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
