Learned Government Advocate on instructions would submit that, the revenue authorities has submitted a report of the Water Resources Department (WRD) dated 17.09.2026 providing details about the encroachment made in the water body.

2. In view of the said report, the respondents are directed to coordinate with the WRD and ensure that the encroachments in the water body are removed under the relevant provisions of the Statutes and Rules in force. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
