..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 4 to 7 to consider and dispose the Petitioners representation dated 25.07.2025 and consequently directing them to conduct survey, enquiry and inspection of the Road on K.M.11/8-12/2 at Nallavur Village in the Road from mailam to Karattai State Highway in S.Nos.16/1,17/1,17/2,17/3 and 15 in Nallavur Village and to remove the encroachment and to file detailed report within the time stipulated fixed by this Court.

With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition for removal of encroachment, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents 1 to 7, based on the written instructions, would submit that the authorities have initiated action and report has been submitted to the jurisdictional Revenue Tahsildar to conduct survey, identify the encroachments and thereafter initiate enforcement action. He would further submit that on identification of the encroachments, enforcement actions will be initiated and encroachments will be removed by following the procedures.

2. In view of the said submission, the official respondents are directed to conduct survey, identify the encroachments if any and thereafter initiate enforcement actions by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant Statutes and Rules in force after affording opportunity to the encroachers. The entire exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
