In the context of the relief sought for in the writ petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, produced the written instructions vide proceedings dated 07.10.2026 submitted by the Tahsildar, Madhuranthagam Taluk. The said proceedings would show that the survey has already been conducted and encroachments are identified.

2. That being the factum, the official respondents are directed to initiate enforcement action for removal of encroachments by following the procedures as contemplated under the Statutes and Rules in force. It is made clear that opportunity has to be afforded to the encroachers to defend their case. The entire exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve (12)

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
