Learned counsel for the applicant submits that co- accused has already granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 24.6.2024 in M.Cr.C. No.25159 of
2024. 2. Heard.
3. This is the first bail application filed by applicants under Section 438 of Cr.P.C . for grant of anticipatory bail relating to Crime No.216/2024, registered at Police Station- Kirnapur, District Balaghat, (MP) for the offence under Section 384/34 of IPC.
4. The bail application has been rejected by the concerned court at Balaghat vide order dated 5.6.2024. 5 . The allegation against the applicant is that the applicant went to Aganwadi and tried to expose the shortcomings and misdeeds of the staff therein but the staff of the Agawandi complained it to the Police that the applicant was blackmailing them and was demanding Rs.15,000/- for not exposing their the misdeeds.
6 . Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail application on the ground that such type of journalism, the media is miscreadited in the eyes of the public. Thus, the bail should not be granted to the applicant. 7. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 8 . Considering the aforesaid, anticipatory bail application filed by the applicant is allowed. I
