ORDER

This petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking extension of temporary bail granted to the applicant.

2. This Court vide order dated 05.02.2024 passed in MCRC No.54962/2023 had granted temporary bail to the applicant for a period of 45 days.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant/accused was granted temporary bail on the ground of his illness and surgery and soon after his release, he went to his hometown Punjab and got admitted in Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab but due to financial crunch, surgery could not be performed therefore, prays for extension of time for a period of 45 days.

4. On due consideration of the aforesaid, a case is made out for extension of temporary bail for a period of 30 days, on the same bail bond and surety, as directed earlier. It is directed that the applicant shall file medical documents relating to his operation positively. This further 30 days shall be counted from the date when the earlier granted period of 45 days expire.
