This is first bail application filed by the petitioner under Section
439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2020 in connection with Crime No.178/2020 registered at P.S.-Narmada Nagar, Distt.-Khandwa (M.P.) for the offence punishable under Section 304-B r/w Section 34 of IPC.
As per prosecution story, on 25.06.2020, Rajni (since deceased)
has committed suicide by hanging herself at her matrimonial home. Thereafter marg was registered. During investigation, it is found that marriage of deceased was solemnized in the year 2015. Thereafter, petitioner-accused and co-accused demanded dowry with the deceased. Due to non-fulfillment of dowry, they humiliated and tortured her, so she committed suicide. Thereafter, the aforesaid offence has been registered against the present petitioner and other co-accused persons.
