This petition having been heard and reserved for orders, coming on for pronouncement this day, Justice Sanjeev S. Kalgaonkar pronounced the following:

This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed seeking the quashment of order dated 21.06.2023, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dewas directing the registration of FIR under Section 156(3) Code of Criminal Procedure in Unregistered Criminal Complaint case No.2271/22.

2. The exposition of the facts giving rise to the present petition is as under :-

a. The IDBI Bank Limited through its authorized officer Shri Navin Puri, Branch Head of Sapna Sangeeta Branch, Indore submitted a written complaint in the form of application under Section 156A of the Code of Criminal Procedure before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dewas inter alia stating that the IDBI Bank is indulged in lending activities and provides certain credit facilities to the borrowers on a pledge of certain agricultural crops/goods/products(commodities) as a condition precedent for grant of such credit facilities.
