ORDER

With the concurrence of learned counsel for the parties, the petition was heard finally and today the order is being pronounced.

2. This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for quashing the FIR registered at Police Station Mahila Thana, Narsingpur vide Crime No.51/2022 on the fulcrum of a complaint made by respondent No.2 against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 376(2)(n), 328, 506, 420 of the Indian Penal Code. It is also claimed that order framing charges dated 11.09.2023 passed by Second Additional Sessions Judge, Narsinghpur may also be quashed.

3. Succinct portrayal of facts is that the complainant lodged an FIR on 04.09.2022 at Mahila Thana Narsinghpur alleging therein that she resides at Kolar Road, Bhopal and the petitioner who being an Inspector in police station is posted as SHO PS Lalbagh Burhanpur and on 12.11.2017 the petitioner contacted her on mobile after arranging the number from matrimonial site wherein in his profile, the petitioner’s educational qualification and information about caste were incorrectly shown and he pretended himself to be a victim of wife, gained full sympathy from the complain
