ORDER
This is the first bail application filed on behalf of the applicant/accused under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail, as he is under apprehension of his arrest, in connection with Crime No.274/2023, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Harda, District Harda (M.P.) for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 384/34 of Indian Penal Code.
2 . Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that applicant was Patwari and posted in Halka No.8, Samradha. As per order of SDO he was given charge on 12.3.2019. Certified copy of Sansodhan Panji (mutation register) was produced before the applicant for mutating the name of persons named in Sansodhan Panji and, therefore, applicant carried out mutation. Mutation done by applicant was certified by Tehsildar. Later on it came to light that Sansodhan Panji on basis of which certified copy was prepared, was forged. Sansodhan Panji was maintained in office of Kanoongo. Applicant had no access to said office. There was manipulation in records in said office which cannot be attributed to applicant. Applicant complied with the orders. Applicant made entries as per certified copy of Sansodhan
