This criminal appeal has been filed on behalf of the appellant under Section 374 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 being aggrieved by the judgment dated 29.01.2021, delivered by the learned Additional Judge, Dharampuri, District-Dhar, in Sessions Case No.34/2017, wherein learned Judge has convicted the appellant for the offence under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') and sentenced to undergo 07 years R.I. with fine of Rs.5,000/- and default stipulation. 3. As per prosecution case, on 01.10.2017, Pooja W/o Sunil Bhilala was brought to the hospital after consuming poison. During treatment, Pooja was died and the said information was given to the Police Station Dharampuri by ward boy Shriram S/o Gyarsiya. Marg No. 67/2017 under Section 174 was registered. The allegation against the appellant is of cruelty and taunting the deceased. Due to which the deceased committed suicide.
