This petition coming on for admission this day, the court passed the following:

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:

"7.1 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent either to abolish the Poshan Tracker App of English Language or it be changed into Hindi language for the convenience of the less educated Anganwadi workers Signature Not Verified Signed by: RAMESH of Neemuch and entire Madhya Pradesh.

7.2 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent to provide Android Phones to the Anganwadi workers.

7.3 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent to remove the compulsion of Thumb Impression after completion of day to day routine work as the Mobile Network around the Neemuch District Area is too weak.

7.4 To grant any other relief as deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case with the cost of this writ petition, be also awarded."

The petitioner, who is an Association of Anganwadi Workers, has filed this petition complaining that they have been directed to upload the various information in "the Poshan Tracker App" which runs only on English Language, therefore, it is very difficult for the Members of the Association to operate the said App. Hence, direction be given to the respondents to change the Language of the App from English to Hindi so that they can easily operate the same.

Learned Government Advocate has pointed out from the annexures filed by the petitioner that this App is working on Hindi Language as there is an option to change the Language from English to Hindi vice-versa. The petitioner has also filed document Annexure P/1 dated 07.06.2021, whereby a new version of this App 6.0 has been provided in the Google Play Store in which ten more local languages have been added to operate this App. The photocopy of the browser filed along with the petition also revels that the procedure to run the App is explained in Hindi Language. This App is running in Hindi Language effectively. Only certain entries are showing in English Language which is nothing but details of uploaded documents relating to the pregnant women. Otherwise, the entire App is operable in Hindi Language also.

4. Therefore, the petition is misconceived and accordingly it is dismissed.
