This petition coming on for admission this day, the court passed the following:

ORDER

1. The case of the petitioner is that on his application for recording of the disputed land in his name which has been recorded as a Government land, by Annexure P/1 dated 27/3/2019 the Additional Collector, District Agar Malwa made a recommendation to the respondent No.1 that the land be recorded in the name of the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite lapse of a period of almost 5 years since then the matter has remained pending and no further action thereupon has been taken. A prayer has been made for a direction to respondent No.1 to proceed in the matter in accordance with law.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent/State has submitted that action as required and permissible under the law shall be taken in the matter.

3. Thus in view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the application dated

11/11/2020 Annexure P/3 of the petitioner be decided by respondent No.3 and further action as permissible and required under the law on the basis of the report dated 27/3/2019 Annexure P/1 of the Additional Collector, District Agar Malwa be taken and the matter be finalized within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a reasoned and a speaking order.

4. With the aforesaid, without expressing any opinion on merits, petition stands disposed off.
