ORDER
This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking the following reliefs:
"(i) Direct respondent authorities to conduct fair and impartial inquiry and further direct the respondents to conclude the investigation in respect of Crime Number 95of 2021 registered at Police Station Kotwali, Shivpuri, District Shivpuri (MP), expeditiously within the time bound period.
(ii) That, other suitable weer or direction for doing justice in the matter may kindly be issued. Cost may kindly be awarded."
2. It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that an FIR bearing crime No.95/2021 for offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 120-B of IPC had been lodged by him against the accused persons at Police Station Kotwali District Shivpuri. It was further submitted that despite elapse of more than four years and three months from the date of registration of FIR, charge-sheet in the matter has not been filed.
3. The Supreme Court in the case of D. Venkatasubramaniam v. M.K. Mohan Krishnamachari reported in (2009) 10 SCC 488 has held as under :-
