This application coming on for motion hearing this day, the court passed the following:

ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. for quashing the proceedings of Criminal Case No.129121/15 on the basis of compromise.

Respondent no.2 Arti Namdev has submitted that on payment of total sum of Rs.3 Lakh and the arrears of maintenance awarded by the Court under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C., she is ready to compromise the case. Applicant no.1 Rahul has submitted that he is not ready to pay that amount to respondent no.2 Arti Namdev. In these circumstance, compromise is not possible between the parties.

Hence, this petition filed for quashment of proceedings of Criminal Case No.129121/2015 on the basis of compromise is dismissed without commenting anything on the merits of the case.

Learned trial Court is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously in accordance with law.

A copy of this order be sent to the concerned court for information and necessary compliance.
