JUDGMENT Per: Justice Avanindra Kumar Singh Both these appeals have been filed against the same judgment of conviction and sentence dated 18.03.2025 passed by the Special Judge under SC/ ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Jabalpur, District Jabalpur in SCATR No.
365/2023, hence these appeals are being decided by a common judgment.
2. Appellant Jay Yadav in CRA No. 3212 of 2025 has been convicted under Section 376(D) of IPC and sentenced to R.I. for 20 years with fine of Rs.1,000/-; in default 6 months R.I. Similarly, appellant Ramdas @ Ramkhilan Yadav in Signature Not Verified CRA No. 3788 of 2025 is also convicted under Section 376(D) of IPC and sentenced to R.I. for 20 years with fine of Rs.1,000/-; in default 6 months R.I. Both the appellants have been acquitted of the charges framed under Section 506 Part II of IPC and Sections 3(2)(V), 3(2)(va), 3(1)(w)(i) of the S.C./ S.T.
Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
