This appeal under Section 173 (1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 has been preferred by the appellant/Insurance Company being aggrieved by the award dated 2.02.2016 passed in MACC No.33/2015 by the Second Addl. Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Ujjain whereby a total sum of Rs.30,14,064/- has been awarded to the claimants/respondents No.1 to 3 by way of compensation. The claimants have also preferred a cross objection for enhancement of the amount of compensation awarded to them.
3. Short facts of the case are that on 12/12/2014 Brijhmohan (deceased)

When he reached at Maxi road at Darbar Dhaba, the offending truck bearing registration No.MP. 09 HG 5962, driven by respondent No.5, (insured with appellant) came rashly and negligently and dashed against the motorcycle of Brijmohan as a result of which he died on the spot.
4. The claimants filed an application under Section 166 of the Act, 1988 before the Claims Tribunal for compensation. The application was contested by the appellant / Insurance Co. by filing its written
