ORDER By this petition preferred under Article 226 of Constitution of India the petitioner has challenged the order dated 15.07.2024 [Annexure P/1] passed by the Prescribed Authority cum Sub Divisional Officer, Sub Division Mandsaur, whereby the Election petition preferred by respondent No.8 has been allowed and recounting of votes has been directed while setting aside the election of the petitioner.
2. Elections were notified and held for the post of Sarpanch of village panchayat Sagwali, Teshil Dalauda, District Mandsaur which was reserved for women candidate. The petitioner and seven other candidates submitted nominations for the elections which were held on 24.01.2010 and the result was declared on 03.02.2010. The petitioner was declared elected on Signature Not Verified Signed by: JYOTI
14.07.2022 having secure 247 votes. Thereafter, respondent No.8 challenged the election of the petitioner by preferring an election petition before the Prescribed Officer under Section 122 of Panchayat Raj Avam Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993 read with Rule 6 of Madhya Pradesh Pan
