The present petition has been filed challenging the order Annexure P/1 dated 20.05.2024 passed by the respondent-Life Insurance Corporation of India thereby imposing the penalty of dismissal upon the petitioner who was working as Assistant Administrative Officer in the respondent Corporation.
2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that the allegation against the petitioner as contained in the charge-sheet Annexure P/14 was that the petitioner had relied on the caste status certificate issued by the Tehsildar- Waraseoni, District Balaghat on 23.02.1983 placed on record as Annexure P/3 and subsequently he had also submitted a certificate issued by Tehsildar- District Rajnandgaon, then in Madhya Pradesh which was based on the certificate issued by Tehsildar-Waraseoni dated
