ORDER The present petition is filed challenging the order dated 11.2.2025 whereby the respondent No.2 has rejected the representation of the petitioner for regularization on the post of Chowkidar.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been working with the respondents for last 40 years since 1983. His service has not been regularized and he has not been granted the benefit of 7th pay commission.

Counsel for the State supported the order and submitted that petitioner was engaged as Muster Roll and there is no policy of the Government to regularize the service of a muster roll employee.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the question arises for consideration that whether the petitioner who was appointed in the year 1983 on daily wages is entitled to be regularized or not.
