ORDER basis of said undertaking only, the benefit of revision of pay was extended to the petitioner and as it was noticed later on that the petitioner was entitled for the pay scale which was extended to her, the said mistake was rectified by issuing the impugned order dated 26.12.2016 and column No.2 reflects that the petitioner was given a particular pay scale whereas column No.3 reflects that the petitioner was entitled for the revised pay scale from the respective dates mentioned in column No.1.

This is a petition by the petitioner seeking quashment of the order

dated 26.12.2016 (Annexure P/1) by which the benefit extended to the

petitioner of revised pay scale has been withdrawn.

2. Counsel for the petitioner contended that the controversy involved

in the present petition has already been dealt with by the Apex Court in the case of State of Punjab and others
