ORDER This appeal has been preferred by the appellants/claimants under Section

173(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, assailing the award dated 01.04.2016 passed by the Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, District Bhind (M.P.) (hereinafter referred to as “the Claims Tribunal”) in Claim Case No. 65/2015, whereby the claim petition filed by the appellants seeking compensation was dismissed.

2. The brief facts of the case are that on 23.03.2015 at about 6:30 p.m., the deceased Santosh Singh was proceeding slowly on his motorcycle from village Tikri towards Bhind. When he reached Pithanpura–Muralipura Road near Pitambara Brick Kiln, a red coloured Eicher tractor bearing registration No. MP- 30-M-3086, allegedly driven rashly and negligently, hit the motorcycle of the deceased.
