ORDER

1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order, dated 26.07.2022, (Annexure P-1) whereby punishment of recovery of Rs.4,82,423/- has been imposed upon the petitioner. He has been also imposed with the punishment of censure.

2. The petitioner, during the period from 29.09.2015 to 30.11.2020, was posted as Range Assistant in Seondha Range, Forest Division, Datia. In relation to certain illegal excavation of the minerals, a charge- sheet under Rule 16 of The M.P. Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966 was issued to the petitioner on 28.11.2020 (Annexure P-3). The petitioner gave detailed reply to this charge-sheet on 21.10.2021 (Annexure P-4) and, thereafter, the respondents have passed the impugned order on 25.07.2022, whereby
