1. This is a batch of 6 Revision Petitions under Section 58 (1) (b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (for short ‘the Act’) filed by Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Petitioner/AIC/Insurance Company) against the Order of the M.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (hereinafter referred to as ‘State Commission’) dated 04.11.2022, wherein the Order of the Khandwa District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (hereinafter referred to as the ‘District Commission’) dated 25.02.2022, holding the Respondent/ Bank of India (hereinafter referred to as Bank) was held liable, were modified to the extent of holding both the AIC and the Bank of India (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Bank’), jointly and severally, responsible for making payment of the insurance claim to the Farmer(s)/ Complainant(s).
