These Revision Petitions are filed under Section 21 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (“the Act”), against the Orders dated 05.02.2021 and 11.02.2021 passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab (“State Commission”) in FA/581/2019, FA/611/2019, FA/238/2020, FA/260/2020, FA/267/2020 and FA/268/2020 respectively allowing the Appeals filed by the OPs against the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Barnala (“District Forum”) orders dated 30.07.2019, 30.06.2020 and 21.07.2020 in CC/168/2017, CC/135/2019, CC/220/2019 respectively.
2. For the convenience, the parties are referred to as placed in the First Appeals filed before the State Commission.
3. Since the facts and questions of law involved all aforementioned Petitions are substantially similar, these Petitions are being disposed of by this common Order. Nevertheless, for ease of reference, RP 391 of 2021 is being considered as the lead case, and the facts outlined below are derived from Consumer Complaint No. 138/2017.
