1. BACKGROUND

1.1 This Application bearing I.A. no. 2680/2025 has been filed on 07.05.2025 under Section 60 (5) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (“the Code”) by the Central Board of Trustees, EPF (hereinafter referred to as “the Applicant”), against Prakash Dattatraya Naringrekar, Resolution Professional (hereinafter referred to as “the Respondent/RP”) of Tricom Fruit Products Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Corporate Debtor”) seeking following reliefs: -

“a) That this Hon'ble Tribunal be pleased to condone the delay of 161 days in filing the Claim by the Applicant.

b) That this Hon'ble Tribunal pleased to pass an order and direct the Respondent being Resolution professional to admit and pay the statutory dues for an amount of Rs. 3,81,38,947/- (Rupees Three Crore Eighty-One Lakhs Thirty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-Seven Only) to the applicant.

c) Any other order that this Hon'ble Tribunal may deem fit in the facts and circumstances
