ORDER
1. A report was sought from the Director of Environment, UP, District Magistrate, Mirjapur and UPPCB with reference to the allegation that mining leases which were illegally granted for 20 years in violation of judgment of the Hon(cid:146)ble Supreme Court in Deepak Kumar vs. State of Haryana & Ors., (2012) 4 SCC 629 and order of this Tribunal dated 13.09.2018 in O.A. No. 186/2016, based on the order of the Hon(cid:146)ble Supreme Court, were continuing.
2. The matter was further considered on 18.03.2020 in the light of report of the District Magistrate, Mirzapur dated 17.02.2020 as follows:
2. Accordingly a report has been filed by the District Magistrate, Mirjapur dated 17.02.2020 to the effect that mining activities of respondents Nos. 5 to 7 were closed w.e.f. 11.11.2019.
3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the report itself acknowledges that mining activity continued prior to 11.11.2019
