ORDER
1. This Appeal under Section 18(1) read with Section 16 of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010 and Rule 8 of the NGT (Practice and Procedure) Rules, 2011 has been filed against the order dated 13.08.2024 passed by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) issuing a direction under Section 33A of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Water Act, 1974) for disconnecting the electricity and water of the Appellant unit and further imposing the environmental compensation of Rs. 27,88,884/-.
2. There is a delay of about 30 days in filing the appeal. IA No. 541/2024 has been filed by the Appellant seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal. A reply to this IA has been filed by the Respondent.
3. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties on the application for condonation of delay, it is noticed that the impugned order was passed on 13.08.2024. The stand of Counsel for the Appellant is that a copy thereof was received on 15.08.2024, and the present appeal was filed on 18.10.2024 with a delay of about 30 days.
4. The Appellant had initially filed Writ C No. 30814/2024 before the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad against the impugned order, and
