1. The applicants, who are affected residents due to hazardous poultry activity and the waste disposal near the habitations in the Perikaveedu Village, Koilkonda Mandal, Narayanpet District, Telangana State, have filed this application to take action against Respondents No.4 to 6, who are running the poultry farms in an illegal manner.
2. The applicants alleged that Respondents No.4 to 6, who are running poultry farms have 200 Meters, 100 Meters and 200 Meters of distance from the habitations respectively. None of the Respondents No.4 to 6 have obtained Consent to Operate for running the poultry farm near the habitations. It is alleged further that dumping of poultry waste near the village is causing odour nuisance and waste dumps in the village have become breeding grounds for insects, mosquitoes, etc. causing further health hazards to the residents.
