COMMON JUDGMENT
1. The above case [O.A. No.109/2021 (SZ)] has been Suo Motu registered by this Tribunal on the basis of the newspaper report published in Dinamalar Chennai Edition dated 08.04.2021 under the caption “Fb ikakhf khWk; uqf; ehju; Nfhtpy; Fsk;” (Ranganathar Temple pond is becoming a hub or drinking alcohol).

2. It was alleged in the newspaper report that since the temple tank was left unmaintained, it is being used by the miscreants who are consuming alcohol and throwing the bottles in the temple pond and damage has been caused to the tank, which act as a water reservoir and also help the ground water recharge system in those areas.
3. The above case [O.A. No.81/2021 (SZ)] has been Suo Motu registered by this Tribunal on the basis of the newspaper report published with photograph in Dinamalar Chennai Edition dated 15.02.2021 under the caption “nrd;id jp. efu; Nfhjz;luhku; Nfhtpy; Fsk; guhkupgG; ,y;yhky;> Fgi; g nfhl;L ,lkhf khwp tUfpwJ. ,lk;: Nkw;F khk;gyk;” (The Kothandaramar Temple Pond in T.Nagar, Chennai which is left without maintenance, is turning out to be a dumping yard. Location: West Mambalam).
