ORDER
1. The main issue involve in this application is utilization of CAMPA fund in accordance with the procedure and guidelines issued by the CPCB or the MoEF&CC and use of fund for the purposes which is not covered under the guidelines and further utilization of CAMPA fund less than 50% of the amount deposited from the date of notification till date. The CAMPA fund has been created to use it for Compensatory Afforestation and allied activities in pursuance to the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act , 2016, has been enacted. The CPCB has submitted the report in compliance of the Tribunal’s order, relevant part of which is as follows:-
“3.2 Rules and Regulation for Utilization of CAMPA Fund
The CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Management and Planning Authority) funds are allocated to state governments in India for compensatory afforestation and other forest management activities. The Rules and Regulations governing the utilization of CAMPA funds
