1. This Original Application concerns the protection and preservation of Byalakere Lake, a freshwater lake situated in Hesaraghatta Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk, Bengaluru North, measuring an extent of 13 Acres and 10 Guntas, and seeking that no construction or developmental activities are carried out within the lake area or its ecological buffer zone.
2. The grievance of the applicant pertains to the alleged destruction of the said water body and its surrounding ecosystem on account of developmental activities carried out by the 4th Respondent/Bangalore Development Author
