The present petition has been filed under Section 482 CrPC by the petitioner seeking quashing of the criminal proceeding arising out of Bhubaneswar Vigilance P.S. Case No.20 of 2004 corresponding to T.R. No.83 of 2007, pending before the Court of the learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Bhubaneswar, for alleged commission of offence under Section 13 (2) read with Section 13 (1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 .
2. Heard Ms. Subhashree Sen, learned Advocate, appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Moharana, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Vigilance) appearing for the opposite party-State.
