02. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

2. By means of this application, the Petitioners seek the intervention of this Court with the following prayer:-

“It is therefore prayed that, your Lordships would be graciously pleased to admit this case and call for the records from the Court of the C.J.M, Angul in G.R Case No.378 of 2021 which is pending in his filed for adjudication by this Hon'ble Court.

And after hearing the case on merit would be pleased to allow the petition by quashing the order of framing charge i.e. the order dtd.13.05.2025 in G.R. Case No.378 of

2021.

And any others order / orders may be fact as deem fit and proper in the facts &

circumstances of this case.”

3. In the present application, it is seen that the Petitioners seek to quash the order dated 13.05.2025 passed in G.R. Case No.378 of 2021, whereby the learned court has framed charges against the Petitioners for the offences under Sections 417/420/506/409/34 of the IPC. In connection with the said case, this Court, in CRLMC No.4267 of 2023, passed an order on 17.10.2025 observing the court concerned to comply with the directions issued therein. In view of the above, the learned JMFC, Chendipada, District Angul, is directed to submit a status report with regard to G.R. Case No.378 of 2021 subsequent to the direction of this Court.

4. The Registrar (Judicial) of this Court shall ensure that the report from the concerned court is placed before this Bench by the next date.

5. Office to place the record before the Registrar (Judicial) for compliance.

6. List this matter on 16.01.2026.

7. No coercive action shall be taken against the Petitioners in connection with G.R. Case No.378 of 2021 till the next date.
