This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner Purna Majhi for non-compliance of the order dated 03.09.2024 passed by this Court in Signature Not Verified Digitaly Signed W.P.(C) No.20189 of 2024. The operative portion of Signed by: SIPUN BEHERA Designation: Senior Stenographer Reason: Authentication Location: HIGH COURT OF ORISSA, CUTTACK the order dated 03.09.2024 reads as under:

Date: 09-Dec-2025 16:02:07 “Abstaining from expressing any opinion on the prayer made, we dispose of the writ petition directing the opp. party no.5, the Special Land Acquisition Officer -cum- R.R.O., Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar, Nuapada to re-consider the prayer of the petitioner taking into account the list which has been furnished before this Court vide Annexure-6 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner and communicate the order to the petitioner within two weeks from passing of such order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion relating to the entitlement of the petitioner to get the benefits of the Policy, 2006.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to paragraph no.3 of the contempt petition, wherein it is stated that the petitioner filed an application before the contemnor/opp. party no.2 on 15.09.2024 annexing the certified copy of the order dated 03.09.2024 as well as before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, which has been received by the authorities concerned on 15.09.2024.
