26. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Though this is a disposed of election petition, the matter has been listed under the heading “For Orders” as the SI of Lalbag Police Station, Cuttack has written a letter dated 15.12.2025, requesting extension of 30 3. Though there is a prayer for extension of 30 days the said letter dated 15.12.2025 by the S.I., Lalbag P.S. Cuttack addressed to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court, learned State Counsel prays for extension

of time till end of January, 2026.

4. Accordingly, the time is extended till 31^st January, 2026 to submit the charge sheet.

5. Office is directed to communicate a copy of this order to the Investigating Officer of Lalbag PS, Cuttack in Lalbag PS Case No.387 dated 20.09.2025 for information and necessary action.

6. At this stage, Mr. Gopal Agarwal, learned Senior Counsel, who was defending the Respondent No.1 in the disposed of election petition, brings to the notice of this Court an order dated 25.03.2019 passed by the Division Bench in W.P.(C) No.5080 of 2019 so also files a Memo, enclosing thereto a list of cases filed by Mr. Subash Mohapatra so also cases filed against Mr. Subash Mohapatra, pending before various Courts, along with some orders of Supreme Court as well as this Court, including the website copy of order dated 25.03.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No.5080 of 2019, which are taken on record. Mr. Gopal Agarwal hands up a copy of the said bunch of documents with list of cases filed by and against Mr. Subash Mohapatra to the learned State Counsel.

7. Office is directed to share immediately the said list of cases filed by Mr. Subash Mohapatra as a lawyer before various Courts, so also cases pending against Mr. Subash Mohapatra with the IIC, Lalbag PS, Cuttack enabling him to take note of the fact, if so required during investigation of Lalbag PS Case No.387 dated 20.09.2025.

8. Apart from the same, Office is also requested to act in terms of order dated 25.03.2019 passed by the then Chief Justice in W.P.(C) No.5080 of 2019, if not acted in the meantime.
