02. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and State.

2. Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioner seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Industrial Estate P.S. Case No.243 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No.968 of 2025 pending in the court of learned

S.D.J.M., Khordha on the grounds stated.

Upon reading of the F.I.R. as at Annexure-1, the Court finds that the petitioners and the co-accused named therein allegedly assaulted the informant and caused her bleeding injuries and it was allegedly with an intention to do away with her life. The Medical Examination Report of the victim/informant has been produced today by learned counsel for the State and the same is perused. It is revealed from the said report that the victim received lacerated injuries on the head and she was referred to the AIIMS/Capital Hospital at Bhubaneswar for further treatment. It is informed to the Court

by learned counsel for the petitioners that the present accused persons are the neighbours of the victim, who has not received grievous injuries. Considering the submissions as above and since the petitioners are lady members of the family and found to have been involved along with the co-accused, namely, Thusar Rout and all said to have assaulted the victim, who claimed not to have received any grievous injuries though from the Medical Examination Report, it is suggested that she has been referred to the AIIMS/Capital Hospital at Bhubaneswar, this Court, though not inclined to grant them pre-arrest bail, however, is inclined to direct them to surrender and released on bail subject to verification of injury report of the victim/informant.

4. Accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, the ABLAPL petition stands disposed of with the direction to the petitioners to surrender before learned S.D.J.M., Khordha within a fortnight from today and in the event, they surrender in compliance thereof shall be released on bail in connection with G.R. Case No.968 of 2025 upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (rupees thirty thousand) each with one solvent surety for the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court below, which shall be at liberty to impose such other suitable conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case besides the following, such as, they shall not pick-up any quarrel with the informant and cause any harm to her after being released and to cooperate the I.O. in the investigation till the same is concluded. It is further directed that such release of the petitioners shall be subject to verification of the Medical Examination Report of the informant/victim and only if, no any injury of grievous nature has been received by her.

6. Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per rules.
