01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioners as well as learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Parties. Perused the writ application as well as the documents annexed thereto.
3. The Petitioners have filed the present writ application with the following prayer:
“Under such circumstances, it is prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to admit the case and issue notice to the Opposite Parties to file their show cause as to why the case of the Petitioner shall not be allowed and after hearing the parties, the case of the Petitioner be allowed.
consideration of the case of the petition for their re- engagement/ appointment in the post of Computer Teachers taking into his past experience and qualification.
And/ or further direction be given to the opp. Party No.1 for disposal of the representation of the petitioners vide Annexure-14 dtd:23.04.2025 taking into consideration of the order of this Hon’ble Court passed in W.P.(C) No.4138 of 2014 disposed of on 07.03.2024 as the petitioners are similarly placed like that of those petitioners within a stipulated period.
And/or pass any other order(s) which deems fit and proper for adjudication of the case.”

In course of hearing of the writ application, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners ventilating their grievances have submitted representation before the Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 under Annexure-14. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that the said representation is pending as of now. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioners under Annexure-14 within a stipulated period of time.
5. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection if the representation of the Petitioners is considered by the Opposite Party No.1, which is stated to be pending, in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.
6. Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioners, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of the representation of the Petitioners under Annexure-14 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.1 shall do well to dispose of the representation of the Petitioners under Annexure-14 by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken by the Opposite Party No.1 be also communicated to the Petitioners within ten days thereafter.
7. With the aforesaid observation/ direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
8. Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per Rules.
