Heard the parties.

The matter relates to selection and appointment

conducted under the Advertisement of 2004 for the post of

Constables. The petitioner claims right of appointments against

the left over vacancies under the said advertisement.

After almost 18 years, no such relief can be granted

to the petitioner, as the selection process can not be continued

for such a long period. The writ petition by efflux of time has

become infructuous.

This writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
